Job overview

This role calls for a candidate who is a passionate educator in the field of Learning Support. A Secondary School Learning Support Assistant is responsible for the provision of additional support for students whether this be through intensive individual support, small group or ongoing in class support. The candidate must demonstrate excellence in planning for, and implementing support for learners both in a specific one to one/small group context and also collaborating for differentiation when delivering in class support for learners in a classroom context.

This candidate should be an effective communicator who is open-minded, knowledgeable and who enjoys working collaboratively within the Secondary Faculty. They should demonstrate a passion for providing opportunities for all students to reach their potential and be equally confident and capable in supporting those who require extension and challenge in their learning as for those who require modifications and interventions due to learning difficulties.


Requirements and experience:

  • A Bachelors or Master´s degree in Secondary Education with a valid teaching certification.
  • Experience in the field of Learning Support.
  • Experience teaching in a multilingual learning environment.
  • English native-level speaker fluency.
