Secondary Science Head of Department

The Royal Grammar School Guildford in Qatar (RGSGQ) opened in September 2016 with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Based on the same principles as RGS Guildford, UK, RGSGQ has quickly gained a reputation for providing an outstanding education and enrolment has increased across the school. RGSGQ currently educates girls and boys from Nursery to Year 10 on an attractive campus 10 minutes’ drive north of central Doha. Having established an excellent team of staff and outstanding facilities the school will open Year 11 in August 2021.

RGS Qatar’s Senior School will expand into a new building from 2021. We are looking for teachers of Science with experience of GCSE/IGCSE who are comfortable teaching from Year 7 to Year 11. A level experience would be a bonus, but the school will not operate a Sixth Form for a further two years.

We are looking for Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists as well as allrounders. The position of Head of Science will be available to a suitable candidate who can demonstrate flair, experience and a passion for Science as well as bringing something special to an outstanding faculty.
