Secondary SENCO

Amity International school is looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated SENCO to support our SEND pupils in the Secondary school. 

We are looking for an experienced  teacher to join our Inclusion team as soon as possible in 2020 (Spring term or Summer term start desirable).

The successful applicant must have:

- The ability to share outstanding practice to support learners with additional needs

- The ability to develop inclusive classroom practice across the Secondary school

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with pupils and parents

- A particular qualification/experience of working with pupils with ASD would be advantageous

-      Experience working with KS2 pupils would be advantageous in this all through school.

- A minimum of 5 years’ post qualifying teaching experience.

To be considered for these posts you must hold a B.Ed. or degree and PGCE AND a post graduate certificate/further qualification in SEND (e.g. National SENDCo Award)
