Founded in 1971 and opened as a family-oriented British School, it was one of the first of its kind in Madrid. Today, it is based on six sites, in central Madrid and has over 1100 pupils.
Hastings School follows the National Curriculum for England. At Primary we follow a creative, topic curriculum based on stories from all over the world. At Secondary level pupils prepare for IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations. Most pupils go to either British or Spanish universities.
Hastings School is looking to appoint a full time Secondary Teacher of Biology from September 2021. Candidates will hold a relevant degree and a UK approved PGCE or international equivalent. The candidate should be able to teach Biology to IGCSE and A level.
