Brains International Schools has been established for 40 years providing quality education for children aged 1 to 18 years. Ours is a school which prides itself on innovation, technology, sports and languages. Located in Madrid, Spain, we are currently seeking  a teacher of English for our Secondary Department to begin in September 2020. 

The secondary school is bilingual (English/Spanish) following the Spanish Curriculum and is currently implementing the IB Middle Years Programme. 

All applicants should be :

  • Fluent English speakers
  • Fully qualified in secondary education from a recognised body, preferably with recognition of qualifications from the Spanish Department of Education, Culture and Sport

A knowledge of project based learning, experience in MYP/IBDP world schools, the use of technology in the classroom, the ability to work as part of a large team, as well as a willingness to demonstrate versatility and positivity, are highly valued attributes in our school.

A knowledge of Spanish will be seen as advantageous but certainly not necessary. We are ideally looking for professionals who plan to remain in Madrid medium to long term.
