Vision for Education is looking to appoint three highly motivated Teaching Assistants to work in a large Secondary School in Tameside, Greater Manchester. The school requires specialists who are looking for full-time roles and have the empathy and compassion required to support young people with barriers to learning.

The role - This role is a wonderful opportunity to join an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Secondary School, with fantastic facilities and resources for the students. The school is looking for candidates who have experience of working with children on a 1to1, group, and in-class basis who ideally have a specialism in English and/or Literacy and or Mathematics. They would also like someone who might be comfortable covering full classes in the instance of an absence. 

Place of work - The school in mind is an Ofsted Outstanding rated school, with a mixed cohort of pupils ages 11 - 16. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an incredibly proud, committed, and inspiring team of teachers and support staff.

Requirements - Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are:

• Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience

• To work 1:1 with students who may demonstrate challenging behaviour and who will have Special Educational Needs.

• Have a warm and caring personality

• Have a genuine desire to help students with complex needs
