Our students want stimulating and inspiring teaching from people who know their business. We are looking for those of you in the know about the skills needs of today and the skills needs for the workforce of tomorrow – those of you willing to help develop the learners’ employability, personal and social skills through your guidance and support.

Current Requirement: Sector lead – Business and Commercial

We have a vacancy in our Technical and Professional Learning centre, for a Sector Lead in Business and commercial. The post holder will cover a portfolio which currently consists of Travel & Tourism, Catering, Hospitality, and The Business School. 

As a Sector Lead at Highbury you will lead engagement with local employers within your sectors, responding to employer needs and enabling students to progress into work. We will support you the opportunity to develop partnerships with local schools and other educational establishments and to take part in students’ recruitment and marketing to develop and sustain student growth for the Sector.

We would also like you to share your knowledge and expertise in your areas by teaching on programmes within your Sector (between 8 and 14). 

We are a forward looking college and as such we ask that our Sector Leads promote and develop entrepreneurial activities within your Sectors and to grow the business.
