Quest Primary School (formerly Gilbert Scott Primary School) is part of The Collegiate Trust, operating in the boroughs of Croydon and Crawley.

Quest Primary is at an exciting time in its development. In September 2022, the school will adopt its new name, Quest Primary, thereby aligning more closely with our neighbour The Quest Academy and ensuring that partnership across both schools enables us to work effectively to provide the best possible educational outcomes and experiences for our pupils. Work has already begun to raise attainment across the school and our focus on developing excellent teaching and learning, supported by an engaging and ambitious curriculum offer, ensures that pupils can achieve their potential, in a supportive and caring environment.

Our staff endeavour to provide a calm and stimulating environment where good behaviour and mutual respect is modelled by everyone and where everyone is valued, so that pupils enjoy coming to school and are enthusiastic about their learning. We also provide specialist teaching for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties in our Enhanced Learning Provision. Woodlands Children’s Centre also shares our site.

Quest Primary pupils are well motivated and a pleasure to work with, whilst our staff are hard-working and ambitious for themselves and others. Our facilities enable us to provide the very best learning environment and learning experiences for our pupils and it is the combination of these factors that leads to the improving standards at our school and the enviable reputation that The Collegiate Trust has built. We hold the highest aspirations for what we will do and achieve in the future for our pupils at Quest Primary.

We hope that you will be excited about the prospect of joining our team and developing your career with us at Quest Primary.

Quest Primary is a stimulating and happy environment in which staff, parents and governors work together to enable the school to provide a creative, balanced and meaningful curriculum. We are a vibrant school that does our very best to ensure all our children flourish throughout their time with us; thriving as individuals and achieving their academic potential.

We encourage our children to be positive, responsible and considerate whilst being confident and successful as independent learners and working cooperatively with others.
