27.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days

£12,756 - £12,814 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting, Scale 1b

Are you a kind and caring individual who loves to work with children? At Hayes Park School we have an excellent Special Needs support team. We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable to join our team to work with our children with SEN. You will support children in our school who have Education, Health, and Care Plans with their learning and their physical needs, if necessary. 


We are a warm and inclusive three-form entry school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. We are looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to ensure our children receive the best possible support to maximise their progress. The successful candidate will be within a specific year group to support children with ASD, physical difficulties, or any other needs our children have. 


The following qualities will be essential in this post:

• Excellent literacy and Numeracy skills;

• NVQ trained level 2 or 3, or comparable course of study;

• Experience of working with children in the primary phase;

• Experience of working with children who have SEN;

• Sensitivity to the issues raised in working as a support to children with SEN;

• Ability to work in a supportive way, and communicate with a wide range of professionals, parents and young people.



CLOSING DATE: 05 July 2018 - NOON
