ABC Teachers are currently looking for an outstanding Special Educational Needs PE Teacher for a school in Leamington Spa. This school caters for students with ASD and PMLD that are 11 to 19 years of age. This school has a long running history of achieving the full potential of its students and ensuring that they are supported through the day to day running of lessons.
This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July 2018, and is on a full time basis. This role does have the potential to become permanent for the ideal candidate; we are ideally looking for someone that has had previous experience of working with children with SEN. You will be supported by teaching assistants who have experience of working to support students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, aiding with the delivery of lessons.
The Ideal candidate –
· Will have QTS
· Highly creative in a classroom setting
· Knowledge within the education sector
· Passion for supporting the learning of children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
