At Priory Education we are proud of our reputation for delivering quality education and care services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 5 to 25 who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements.

Tadley Court school, which was recently awarded an overall rating of Good with Outstanding personal development, behaviour and welfare and Outstanding in our sixth form provision, is set in a beautiful semi rural location with four acres of well maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

We offer a safe, structured and predictable environment where students can develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible allowing them to make real life choices as they approach and reach adulthood.

To succeed, we need people who share our passion for making a difference and are willing to support our young people to achieve aspirational goals.  We are committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare and expect all staff to share this commitment.

We specialise in providing quality teaching and care for learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties, specifically those with ASD and associated behavioural and communication needs. You will join our established team of education, care and specialist therapy professionals, using your expertise to help support student progress within a caring and supportive school community. In addition to inspiring and motivating students, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching standards and bring a fresh perspective to new education initiatives.

This role calls for an exemplary teacher with proven ability to drive attainment levels and create a stimulating learning environment sensitive to individual capabilities and needs. You will ideally have experience of managing young people with challenging behaviour, including those with ASD and communication difficulties but we would also like to hear from teachers with an interest in, and desire, to learn more about special needs. A strong team player, you will be comfortable taking on new challenges and working in a highly collaborative way.  Add to that a knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, and you will quickly make your mark as part of our forward-thinking school.

We would be interested to hear from teachers who have the knowledge and experience to work in the Post 16 Department.
