This role is for 5 days per week: 7.5 hours
Rate of Pay: Scale SC2

We have a vacancy for a Special Needs School Meal Supervisory Assistant.

We are looking for someone who can assist at lunchtime with a child with a statement of special educational needs. The child will need careful supervision during their lunchtime both in the dinner hall and out in the playground with the other children.

You need to be able to relate well to children and staff. You will be under the direction of the Office Manager and the Special Needs Co-ordinator.

Experience of working with children with special needs would be an advantage.
You will also need to have experience of working with children in a play setting and will need to be well-motivated and have a calm manner. Our job description and person specification gives more detail about the post – this is included in the application pack.
