We are currently looking for a skilled SEN TA, who has experience working with pupils with SEND and Additional needs. 

The role 

The School is on the outskirts Bristol, currently looking for someone to take the reins immediately. The desired SEN teaching assistant will be working with pupils with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for Individuals who have a level 3 in childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification. The school would ideally like someone who has recently Assisted in KS2 and has relevant and recent experience working with children with SEND or additional needs. 


The school 

The School is in central Bristol, with a diverse catchment area. It has a ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted and are looking for someone to help retain school ethos.

Requirements 

To be considered for the SEN dTA position, you will:

•Have experience supporting children in primary education 

• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject

• Have experience supporting children with KS1 children of all abilities 

• Be able to adapt to different routines daily

• Have experience of KS1 curriculum and phonics

• Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching  

• An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one

• The ability to work on initiative and proactively

• Own transport is highly desirable or close links to public transport
