We are currently looking for a Teacher for an SEN school in Handsworth. Students are aged between 3 and 19 years, all of whom have a statement of special educational needs. Difficulties range from moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, profound and multiple difficulties and associated complex needs. The aim of the school is to cater for individual needs and to provide a quality learning environment.
This school are looking for a KS2 Teacher to start this role after the Easter break and continue through the summer term. This role has a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the ideal candidate. This school ensures that there is a high number of staff within each classroom, allowing for a personalised learning experience.
We are looking for applicants that are passionate about working with Special Educational Needs and have a background within a similar environment. You will be supported by a strong network of staff that are committed to going above and beyond for their students.
The Ideal candidate –

• Highly creative in a classroom setting
• Knowledge within the education sector
• Passion for supporting the learning of children
• In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
