Smart Teachers are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to work in a specialist SEN school, teaching across early years and Year 1 classes. The school facilitates pupils with missed SEN needs from mild ASD to PMLD and Severe ASD. The school is a large school with a family-like feel to it, and they are looking to add another strong member to the team. The role requires a strong understanding of working with SEN Students and also proven experience in teaching children with SEN. The role is a full-time permanent job that is based in South Croydon that is due to begin in September 2020.

The school

The school is a large SEN Primary school in South Croydon who are soon to be introducing a nursery as well. It is a mixed needs school, with needs of the students ranging from mild ASD to severe ASD, as well as PMLD. 

Requirements

To be considered for the SEN Teacher position, you will have:

• Experience working in an SEN environment in the last 2 years 

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

• QTS
