ABC Teachers part of TES are seeking to appoint an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teacher to join a school in the Walsall area. This role will be on a full time basis starting as soon as possible.
This school caters for students with a variety of Special Educational Needs, these mainly being ASD Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Issues.
You will be working with who are 7 to 19 years of age, therefore it is important that you will have experience working with children in an SEN environment.
You will work alongside a supportive and experienced team in order to give the students the education and support they require.
The ideal candidate –
· Will have QTS
· Experience working in an SEN environment
· Passion for supporting students learning
· Highly creative in a classroom setting
· In date DBS & on the update service
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
