Are you looking for a rewarding role as a Teaching Assistant?
ABC Teachers are part of TES are currently looking to recruit a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school located in Birmingham. This role will begin as soon as possible and will be an ongoing, part time basis in a school which caters for students with MLD, SLD and ASD who are 3 to 11 years of age.
This is a really exciting opportunity to make a difference and help children achieve their full potential in a friendly and supportive environment. You will be expected to assist the class teacher with daily tasks and support the students both 1:1 and in small groups.
We are ideally looking for someone that has previous experience of working with children who have special educational needs and is confident in their ability to work within sometimes challenging but highly rewarding environments.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
