Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? A Special Educational Needs school located in Hodge Hill is looking for a dedicated individual who can make a real difference to young people’s lives. This Secondary school caters for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. 

We are ideally looking for a confident individual who will remain calm in sometimes challenging situations. This role will begin as soon as possible and end in March 2018, you will be expected to work with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups. If you have experience of working with challenging behaviour then we would like to hear from you. 

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 3 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service   

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
