SEN Teaching Assistant

Chelsea Hall School is an Independent specialist school for primary age children with mild to moderate complex learning needs. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team and work in close partnership with our teachers, therapists, learning support assistants and parents. The hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities  

• To support students both within the class and during unstructured situations     
• To reinforce targets throughout the school day.     
• To support the teaching and therapy staff to maintain detailed case notes of all children seen.     
• To participate in supervision and support as required.     
• To act as a resource and support for other staff members working with the children     
• To make and prepare resources for teaching and therapy staff     
• To maintain continuous professional development.
