Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / SEN TA to join an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in the London borough of Camden. This mainstream school is seeking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant / SEN TA who has experience working with a variety of SEN needs including autism and dyslexia. You will be comfortable working with primary children with SEN to promote their learning. You will work to increase the child’s level of learning. You will assistant and support pupils with ASD and general learning needs within the class. You will carry out the responsibilities of the level 3 teaching assistant in line with the child’s specified needs.

· You will work one to one and in small groups working with children with special educational needs

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant / SEN TA will need to meet the following criteria:

· Hold a level 3 teaching assistant certificate or equivalent 

· Have recent classroom experience within the last two years

· Must have the right to work in the UK

· Be willing to travel at least 30/40 minutes

· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
