ABC Teachers are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Solihull. You will be working with students with MLD who are 11 to 19 years of age.
You will be joining a friendly school environment that is dedicated to making sure that all students receive the education that they deserve.
This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July, we are ideally looking for someone that has had previous experience of working with students who find the school environment challenging. You will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, supporting the class teacher with the daily running of lessons.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
