ABC Teachers are working with a number of SEN Schools within Nottinghamshire that are in need of Teaching Assistants.

We are working with a range of nurseries that are committed to working to the highest standards, offering pupils with a range of needs the chance to learn in a supporting and caring environment, giving them every chance to succeed.

Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with pupils while being empathetic and highly supportive to their individual needs. The role is ideal for those looking to start immediately, and are available to work on short notice.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 TA Qualification.
  • Knowledge or a background around working with adults, young people or children with SEN.
  • Be eligible to work within the UK.
  • 3 References, of which 1 should be school based.
  • Own transport is desirable.

You will also be able to:

  • Remain calm and confident in a challenging environment.
  • Be approachable and patient.
  • Demonstrate a professional manor at all times.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
