Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a Special Educational Needs environment? Do you have experience working with SEN and other complex needs?

Job role:

ABC Teachers are currently recruiting passionate and hardworking Teaching Assistants to work within the Special Educational Needs department of a number of schools located in Dudley. The Schools cater for Students with a range of differing SEN issues and contain pupils aged between 6 and 16 years old and provides a challenging, exciting and rewarding environment to work within.

The ideal candidate – 

· Level 3 TA qualification 

· Experience within an SEN setting, either in a personal environment or a work environment

· Available for full and part time work

· Quick ability to build trust and a rapport with SEN students

· Be eligible to work within the UK and hold a valid in-date DBS 

· Flexible and ideally hold a full valid driving licence

As part of the job you will be assisting the class teacher as well as working alongside other Teaching Assistants on a 1:1 basis as well as in a group setting. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role.

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
