Are looking for a passionate, caring, experienced and highly committed individual to join our middle leadership team as SENCo. The successful applicant will lead high quality SEND provision across the Academy which enables excellent learning outcomes and success for all students. They will provide clear guidance for staff on the implementation of quality first teaching strategies to raise achievement for students with SEND, as well as establish and manage bespoke interventions to support the academic, social and emotional progress of identified students. They will also manage our dedicated and experienced team of learning support staff.

At Tudor Grange Academy excellent teaching and learning is at the heart of all that we do helping students fall in love with learning, embrace a growth mindset and be successful.  We use Rosenshine’s 10 principles of instruction as a framework for our Quality First Teaching (QFT) programme.  All staff enrol on our Teacher Education Programme (TEP) to develop as researchers and learners to better the quality of provision in the classroom.  TGSA is a dedicated reading school.

The successful applicant will need to hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, as well as have relevant SEND experience. They would also need to have full working knowledge of relevant SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
