Vision for Education, the supply arm of TES.com are now recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to work on a full time basis in a specialist provision for Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. This position is to begin at the start of the 2018/19 academic year and will continue on long term / temp basis.
Experience working in a team and leading students with complex learning a physical difficulties is essential for this role.
Personality, pro-activity and creativity are required attributes whilst maintaining a calm, patient, empathetic but resilient manor is also necessary to achieve progress with these KS3 and KS4 students.
- Applicants must be flexible and confident Teaching and leading classes of up to 10 students in an SEND setting.
- Applicants must be a qualified Teacher with QTS.
- Applicants must hold or be willing to process a current DBS (Children and Vulnerable Adults) and it be registered on the online update service.
- Applicants must be available 5 days a week (Mon-Fri 8:30–16:00)
- Applicants must be able to work in the Northumberland area.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and meet all national safeguarding criteria.
