Job overview
County Hall, Norwich
You care about children, you have led on the development of great teaching, you have inspired teachers to become leaders, you have collaborated with other school leaders to make a difference to whole communities – now become the architect of educational leadership across an entire county!
Earlier this year Norfolk School Leaders and Norfolk County Council invested in a detailed report on the ‘Future of Education Leadership in Norfolk’. This lays the foundations to create new leadership in a diverse education landscape. Due to promotion of the current post holder we are seeking an experienced education leader who will work with Teaching School Alliances, Professional Associations, MATs and other partners to develop well supported pathways into a wide range of leadership and governance roles. There are a range of exciting opportunities to realise the vision of a self-improving school led system, including the development of new national apprenticeship standards.
If you are interested in this role or aspects of it then we would like to hear from you. There is a minimum of one full time equivalent role, which could be a secondment on current conditions or a permanent appointment (Soulbury 17-20). We will also consider part time arrangements.
Interested? Join us to hear more about the role and for the opportunity of an informal discussion on Wednesday 1st November 2017, 3pm to 5pm at the Professional Development Centre, 144 Woodside Road, Norwich, NR7 9QL or contact Sebastian Gasse (Tel. 01603 307714, email sebastian.gasse@norfolk.gov.uk).
