Actual annual salary: £17,379.58
Salary Scale Point 7 (range 7-8)
7.00am to 3.00pm (some flexibility may be available around start time) with a 30-minute unpaid break each day and a 2.30pm finish one day each week (total hours 37 per week) Term time only plus 7 days
Some flexibility will be required, on occasions, to suit the operational needs of the school, for example open evenings and evening functions

We are looking for an energetic, experienced, enthusiastic Senior Cook. This is a fast-paced, creative role in a dedicated team with the benefit of working school term weeks (usually 38 per year) and enjoying the school holiday breaks.

We are looking for a colleague:
Work with the Trust Catering manager on menu planning, providing healthy and high-quality meals that appeal to teenagers and also meet the National Standards for School Food
To prepare, produce and serve food to a high standard
Ensure the attractiveness of the catering provision including food presentation and the dining environment
Liaise with the Catering Supervisors in order to promote the daily menu choices to students
Work with the Trust Catering Manager to meet the budgeted cost targets
To comply with Food Safety Regulations, HACCP and the School’s Food Safety Management System
Organise the catering arrangements for special functions and hospitality events within the Trust – some of which may be outside the normal school day.
