The Oratory Preparatory School (OPS) is a leading independent day and boarding school providing an enriched education to 375 boys and girls aged 2 to 13. The Headmaster now seeks an ambitious and committed Senior Deputy Head to play a leading role in the next phase of development at the OPS. The Senior Deputy Head will work to further enhance the educational standards for which the school is renowned, whilst also shaping and implementing the strategy to modernize the learning experience and the School’s culture to ensure that every member of the community flourishes. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior leader to work with a strong and collegiate staff in a confident school supported by a dynamic and forward-looking independent schools group. 

This person will bring a proven and successful senior leadership track record with a management approach based on openness, collaboration and excellent communication skills, underpinned by a restless ambition to innovate and improve. The successful candidate will also understand and be committed to the School’s ethos and values whilst looking ahead to the future with a genuine sense of ambition for both the OPS and themselves.
