Senior Human Resources and Recruitment Officer (Full Time) 

Epsom College is a co-educational day and boarding school with approximately 1025 pupils aged 11-18. The College is located one mile from Epsom town, below Epsom Downs, in fine buildings set in a beautiful tree filled campus of some 80 acres. 

Following departmental expansion, the College is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Human Resources and Recruitment Officer to join the department with an Associate Level CIPD qualification as a minimum.  You will be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of recruitment processes as well as for carrying out generalist HR operational matters.  

The Senior HR and Recruitment Officer will be a conscientious and hard-working individual who enjoys working as part of a team whilst being able to take the lead on recruitment and be the first point of contact on day to day HR operational matters.  The successful applicant will have significant hands on experience of recruitment and up to date employment law knowledge.  You will also have some experience of supporting middle managers with a broad array of general HR and employment queries.  Excellent communication and written skills will be essential.  A competent IT user and attention to detail will be a pre-requisite. Previous experience of working within a school or safeguarding regulated environment would be desirable but not essential as training is provided.
