Senior Intervention Leader (Maternity Cover)

Sale High School is looking to appoint an experienced and qualified Senior Intervention Leader to support students in their progress and attainment.  The role is temporary ,  covering maternity leave from Sept 2021 until 27th May 2022.

The post involves the provision of in-class support to students with SEND and working on an individual and group basis with some students in our Inclusion Centre, ‘Aspire’.  Experience in supporting children with English, Maths and Science  and or social, emotional and communication difficulties would be an advantage, to  work alongside teaching staff with students with special educational needs and to support targeted intervention, and to co-ordinate provision, administration and funding.

To support the Aspire Manager with the day to day running of the Aspire Inclusion Centre.

Applicants must have suitable qualifications and experience in the role, and will:

Ideally, be a graduate with experience in a similar role;

Be fully committed to supporting the attainment and achievement of students;

Be fully committed to supporting teaching and learning;

Be prepared to undertake appropriate CPD;

Be flexible and enthusiastic.
