St James Schools.

Where ideas and imagination change lives.

At St James Schools, we don’t just create successful pupils. We create rounded human beings through a holistic education that provides the foundation for spiritual happiness.

Since 1975, we have been transforming lives and outcomes – both for our pupils and for our valued staff, who make the magic happen.

All four of our independent schools enjoy enviable locations in London and Surrey. Our Preparatory School and Senior Girls’ School are close to Hammersmith and High Street Kensington, just a short tube journey from all the excitement of Central London. St James Senior Boys’ School occupies a stunning 32-acre site in leafy Surrey. The Nursery School, for rising threes and over, occupies the former lodge in Marcus Garvey Park, with an impressive double-height ceiling, exposed rafters and free flow to the adventure playground.

These are great places to work and study in more ways than one.

At St James Schools, children’s ideas and imaginations matter. Creativity, academic achievement and spiritual wellbeing are equally valued, meaning our school leavers have 360-degree thinking, not tunnel vision. So, they’ll move on in life with far more than just excellent exam results.

You can also expect more when you build your career with us. More fun, as you engage with children brimming with curiosity. More one-on-one teaching thanks to our small, focused classes. More professional development, as you become a subject expert who can deliver a stimulating and challenging curriculum in an entertaining and exciting way.

The career you’ve always wanted starts here. Please browse our TES pages for current vacancies and visit our school website to learn about St James Schools.
