About Ash Green School

Ash Green School is a secondary academy for 11 - 18-year olds in Ash Green, Warwickshire.

Pupils and their limitless potential are at the heart of the academy. We live and work by the philosophy that there is no shortcut to success and so we seek to promote excellence in every aspect of academy life.

Our Purpose, Vision and Values

Our mantra ‘Every Day Extraordinary’ conveys and underpins our whole approach to identify and nurture the potential in each pupil throughout their journey at Ash Green, giving them the best possible opportunities to succeed in our 21st century global community.

We provide an education that has an international outlook; opening minds to the world around them and instilling curiosity along with an analytical approach. We are passionate about developing oracy; from the start of year seven an extensive vocabulary toolkit is developed, and we offer many opportunities to practise speech making.

Being a community academy within the Creative Education Trust family, we benefit from partnership working and enriching opportunities to assist student development. We are fiercely committed to ensuring the academic, technical, creative and emotional support is of the highest quality for every young person we serve.

Specialisms

Creative Arts: students learn, develop and hone a range of skills including problem solving, creativity, expression and confidence.

Music: every student in September 2022, commencing in Year 7, will be provided with a musical instrument as we believe in the power of the music to change lives.

Ofsted

As Green School was inspected by Ofsted in March 2017 (short inspection) and was graded as good with "outstanding" leadership. You can read the full report at

Among the points highlighted by the Inspectors in the academy's first full inspection report since opening, they say:

They scrutinise information about achievement, attendance, behaviour and teaching and ask leaders searching questions”.

• a tailored induction programme to meet your needs
