This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to serve on the Senior Management Team at an Outstanding Ofsted provider. The successful candidate will be an exceptional Science teacher who can lead by example in consistently delivering outstanding results at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
The Sciences are the most popular area of study in the Sixth Form at Sandwell Academy; students appreciate the thought provoking, challenging, and practical lessons that are delivered by a fantastic team of teachers, and aspire to scientific careers in areas such as medicine and engineering. Extracurricular activities include Science Club, CREST award, medical careers group, and intervention work. Due to the burgeoning success of the Science department two additional laboratories are being built to ensure continued provision of first class resources and facilities.

Salary is negotiable and will be on the leadership scale. Salaries broadly reflect national pay scales and successful candidates are also eligible for performance related pay linked to Academy policy in addition to their salary. - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
