Prestwich Arts College wishes to appoint a reliable and forward thinking professional to join our Science team, where you will assist us in the next part of our journey, to help our students realise their greatness.  We are seeking the right person to join our committed team, to work under the direction of the Lead Practitioner of Science.  The Science faculty are a team of hard working and dedicated staff, with a mixture of expertise and specialisms.  We have celebrated excellent results in Triple Science and have an improving trajectory for Science overall.

The Science Faculty’s vision, is aligned with the Prestwich values of supporting all of our students in unlocking their potential and realising their greatness.  We are currently re-modelling our Science curriculum provision across KS3 and KS4, to suit the needs of our pupils.  Our aim is to provide a high quality curriculum, which ensures that curiosity is nurtured and real-life contexts are embedded across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  This is an exciting new phase for us and we seek applications from individuals who share this commitment, to provide the best learning environment for our pupils and improve Science for all.  We are also currently in the process of building two Science labs and a work room / prep area, so we will have state of the art facilities too.
