Ash Manor School is a successful 11–16 mixed comprehensive judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection and is now firmly on a journey to becoming outstanding.
We are looking to appoint an energetic, confident and enthusiastic Senior Science Technician to support the learning and teaching within the Science Department. Much of the student and staff activity is of a practical nature and utilises an array of technical equipment and prepared materials. The successful candidate will be able to provide effective and efficient specialist assistance to the academic staff.
In addition, you will supervise and organise the workflow of the science technician support team. Coordinating the use of, and development of, practical resources and facilities, including the provision of guidance and support in meeting the practical requirements of the science curriculum.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the promotion of and observance of a healthy and safe working environment
