Halesowen College is seeking to appoint an Sessional Lecturer for Forensic Science. If you are committed to enabling every student to achieve their very best through outstanding teaching and learning we would love to hear from you. You will be paid on an hourly basis for the timetabled duration of the class. Applicants are requested to stipulate on their application how many hours a week they would be able to teach.
Content that will need covering:
FORENSIC INVESTIGATION PROCEDURES IN PRACTICE (pages 56-65 in attached file).
A: Exploring procedures used to preserve, collect and record forensic evidence from a simulated crime scene
B: Using analytical techniques to examine biological, chemical and physical forensic evidence collected from a simulated crime scene
C: Drawing conclusions and reporting on the results of the analysis of forensic evidence by producing forensic expert witness statements/reports
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Forensic and Criminal Investigation Specification is available upon request.
