About Harris Academy Peckham

Harris Academy Peckham is a place where all flourish, all feel valued and where achievement is the key to success. We are thoroughly proud of all our successes to date and look forward to further contributing to the Harris Federation’s excellent track record.

We combine the traditional values of discipline, respect and good manners with contemporary best practice in teaching and technology. With these core values in place, we aim to send out into the world students that are happy and educated with the drive and ambition to be successful.

Our aim is to offer every student the opportunity to develop their potential to the maximum – in their learning, in preparation for the world of work and in their contribution to society.

We are very fortunate to have skilled and dedicated staff who want our students to enjoy their education. They are committed to helping every young person to reach their own personal goals.

We give our students as many opportunities as possible. No matter what their ability, we want them to learn and experience as much as they can during their time at the Academy. We offer a full, broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring students of all academic abilities enjoy learning. Each student is given the individual care and attention they need to thrive and make maximum progress.

Our two specialisms of Performing Arts and Business and Enterprise make the Academy an exciting and vibrant place. Students are given engaging opportunities to learn, participate in activities and experience the world of work within a friendly and safe environment.

Everyone at the Academy is given the chance to find out what they are good at. We have a large and unusual range of out-of-school clubs and activities. Students can, for example, learn a language, play the drums or become a cheerleader.
