The Heathland Whitefriars Federation is a multi-academy trust consisting of two successful primary schools that work closely together in partnership and include our new secondary section. We are based on two sites, one in Wealdstone and one in South Harrow. Heathland School is a 3-11 primary school judged to be outstanding by Ofsted 2010 and 2014, and Whitefriars School is 3-19 through-school in Wealdstone (Outstanding Ofsted 2018).
Our learners of all ages make rapid progress in an environment of love and care and we see our schools as a strong family where expectations are high, values are positive, forgiveness is abundant and children are treasured. We believe that anyone can learn anything and the growth mindset underpins everything we do. We are a friendly, positive and committed team, dedicated to ensuring that all of our learners succeed and thrive.
Both of our schools are Gold accredited UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools as well as being nationally accredited as ‘Thinking Schools’. We hold Green Flag ‘Eco School’ status on both sites.
In recognition of the Federation’s outstanding leadership and high performance, the government funded a new £16 million pound building so that Whitefriars could launch a secondary section in 2015 and expand to be a 3-19 through-school (our sixth form will open in September 2020).
We put world-class learning at the heart of our organisation. Expansion means we are looking for new members of our committed and friendly staff team.
