Salary: Grade 6 £24,657 - £29,055

Hours / Weeks: 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year

An opportunity has arisen to work across the 5 Primary Schools within Tapton School Academy Trust. These schools include Hallam, Hillsborough, Meynell, Southey Green and Wisewood Primary schools. The successful applicant will work with the Trust Facilities Manager in providing a Facilities Management service to the 5 schools within the Trust.

Each of the sites within the estate are of differing sizes and need. There is a new structure in place that is developing rapidly and the successful applicant will become integral to the Trust Facilities provision.

Each of the schools are members of Tapton School Academy Trust. Tapton is an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Sheffield and the Academy Trust is rapidly establishing itself within the city.

Membership of the Academy Trust provides a range of opportunities for partnership working and continuing professional development with an outstanding secondary school and a network of primary schools within the locality. We are all working together to establish really effective practice for the benefit of every child.

You will need to:

· Have excellent line management skills

· Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines

· Have a strong understanding of Facilities Management (desirable within education)

· Have strong team work skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as direct a team

· Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written

· Work on your own initiative

· A background within the building industry would be desirable
