Sixth Form Officer Manager - 36 hours per week, term time only + 2 weeks

Scale LBR7 Point 29-31 – pro rata of £28,357 - £30,107 fte per annum
Required from September 2018 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated administrator to lead and manage our Sixth Form Support Team. The successful candidate will manage, coordinate and supervise the work of the Sixth Form Support Team. They will ensure sixth form office procedures and services meet the demands of the sixth form priorities and provide administrative support to the IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance) department. The postholder will also be the first point of call for all sixth form related enquiries.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent IT skills and is competent using a range Microsoft packages. Knowledge of G-Suite would also be beneficial
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Preferably experienced in working in a school environment
  • Educated to GCSE level with Maths and English
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of using SIMS
