We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated tutor to work in partnership with teaching and other educational support staff to support the delivery of A-Level Sociology.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and it is desirable that they will have experience of working with children in a school environment. We would particularly like to hear from graduates looking for work experience prior to teacher training.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Rigorous checks will be undertaken of the successful applicant’s background credentials, including enhanced DBS checks.

The Bishop of Winchester Academy, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, is a Church of England secondary school that prides itself on its curriculum, governance and outstanding student behaviour. Students aged 11-18 experience teaching in new state-of-the-art buildings and have first-class resources at their fingertips. The school operates in an area where there are schools that select for entry on grounds of ability.
The mixed secondary school was opened in September 2010 as a sponsor-led academy. In September 2014, the Bishop of Winchester Academy extended its educational opportunities by opening its own sixth form.
