Job overview

We are looking to appoint a full time Teacher of Spanish. The ability to teach French/German to at least KS3 is desirable.

If you want to work with outstanding colleagues to become the best teacher you can be and have an input into the way the department moves forward, then this is the job for you. Modern Languages are popular and successful at Hayes School and our department vision is to develop confident and enthusiastic communicators in a foreign language.

The Modern Foreign Languages Department:

 A languages department bucking national trends.

 Regularly recruit double figures of A Level Spanish students.

 Three sets in Year 11 taking GCSE Spanish.

 Our Principal is himself a linguist and teaches within the department.

Hayes School is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Bromley, Kent, and has about 1700 pupils.
