Spanish Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding and academically strong Spanish Department in one of the country’s leading girls’ schools.

As a teacher of Spanish, you will play a key role providing an excellent education for all the school’s pupils by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm, offering support to the learning of individual students and contributing to the school’s pastoral system.

The ability to teach to A level is essential along with experience at KS3, 4 and 5.

The Spanish Department at Wimbledon High School is currently thriving. A-Level and GCSE results have been outstanding in recent years, with a superb 100% A*-A rate at GCSE in 2017 and we have a strong ethos of sharing best practice in the department. The department believes in enriching the pupils’ interest and cultural knowledge beyond the classroom. We offer a residential study visit to Salamanca for all Year 10 girls and an exchange programme to Murcia for Years 11 and 12. There is also a popular Spanish film club and a student-led newspaper club.
