Vision for Education is looking to appoint Support Assistants to join our successful supply team and work in local Specialist SEND Secondary Schools across West Yorkshire from September 2019.
The role
Vision for Education are looking for several Supply Special Educational Needs Support Assistants to join our bank of staff working across our specialist settings. Vision for Education's Huddersfield SEND team look after various specialist Schools in Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and parts of Keighley. We are looking for adaptable, reliable and confident Support Assistants who are looking to make a difference in young learners lives.
The school
Vision for Education cover a mixture of Schools that all have different needs. Whether you are looking to work with severe physical disabilities / Autism / Mental Health, we will be able to help. We have long term full time roles or just general supply to work around your needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the Special Educational Needs Support Assistant position, you will:
Have experience working with Special Needs within the last 2 years whether it be in an Educational setting or within Care etc.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Be positive and willing to adapt well.
Ideally have experience delivering behaviour management.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
