 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education are currently seeking SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities) experienced support staff to work with young adults in education in the Keighley area.  This work could be full or part time and in some instances, ad hoc supply work.  We are interested to hear from candidates who would like to any of these basis.

Working hours are from 8.30-15.30pm daily with some requirement to attend meetings one night per week.

This role is perfect for somebody with experience in special needs working either inside or outside of education, or an individual with a care background looking for a change of hours and environment.

You need to be an excellent team player, hardworking, patient calm and positive.  Working on a supply basis initially is a fantastic way to build experience and try out a change of environment to ensure suitability.

With no ties initially you are free to select the days that you are available.  For those looking to work full time we have a strong record of staff moving from temporary work to permanent contract through introducing them to settings well matched to their skills and strengths.

We also offer an excellent selection of FREE training and development for our staff in group CPD sessions in holiday periods and with a wide portfolio of online training available to access at any time.

The pay for this role would be £62 - £70 per day (dependent on experience).
