Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team to support a specific child on a 1-2-1 basis. The position is linked to the pupil’s individual EHC Plan and their attendance at our school, so is therefore offered on a Fixed Term basis at this stage.

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates an energetic and resilient nature and enjoys working with children. The successful candidates must be experienced in working with children who have a range of needs; competent in targeted support for interventions, have a good standard of English and Maths, be able to communicate effectively with adults and children and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and willingness to participate in training.

Contracted hours for this post are  20 hours per week (4 hours per day x 5 days) for 39 weeks per year.
