Smart Teachers is recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs / Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible daily basis with special schools based in the London borough of Lambeth over weekends and holidays. These establishments provide services for children and young people with learning disabilities aged 5 to 19 including those with physical disabilities, autism, complex communication, and behavioural needs. These SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs / Special Needs Teaching Assistants positions will be on an ongoing basis throughout the year over weekends and the school holidays.

In order to be considered for this role, SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TAs / Special Needs Teaching Assistants will need to meet the following criteria:
• Have recent classroom experience in the UK (minimum 6 weeks essential)
• Previous experience with SEN (SEMH, ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, complex needs)
• Have strong behaviour management skills
• Have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
