Special Needs Teaching Assistant Level 2 - 1 Year Fixed Term

Central England Academy Trust are a successful specialist setting for 310 children and young people aged 3 – 19, with a broad spectrum of special educational needs and learning disabilities.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistants who will support learning opportunities for our pupils alongside the class teacher. It would be advantageous if candidates have experience or knowledge in using proactive behaviour management strategies to ensure best possible outcomes for all pupils. 

As a growing Academy Trust, we are committed to developing our work force and encourage all staff to participate in a range of professional development opportunities. 

We welcome applicants who either hold a teaching assistant qualification or are currently working towards obtaining the qualification.  Please see job description for full requirements of the role.

The successful applicants will also be expected to undergo core training.
