Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a TA to work with pupils with, moderate, severe and complex needs to join our successful supply teaching team, and to work in a specialist primary school in Salford. This is a full-time TA role, which will commence ASAP until July 2019 with the potential to turn into a permanent position.
The desired Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be able to meet the needs of pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs and learning difficulties, and also associated needs including SEMH. Successful experience of working with pupils with of this nature is desirable.
The post will suit someone either looking to work a special needs school environment or someone with special school experience.
To be considered for the position of Special Needs teaching Assistant Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Ideally hold some Teaching Assistant qualifications
• Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs
• Have high quality classroom skills and be a reflective practitioner
• Have a passion for working with children with barriers to learning
