Start Date: September 2021 start 

Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher to join a small special needs school in the Wandsworth area of London. This full time Specialist Dyslexia Teacher is for a September 2021 start, although this can be flexible. The children at this school are from KS2 to KS5 with specific learning difficulties. This is an outstanding special needs school, and they will consider part time or full-time options. 

The role 

• Specialist Dyslexia Teacher 

• Working with children from KS2 to KS5 

• Leading a small class of children with SLD 

• In class support provided with very small class sizes 

• Prior experience supporting students with special needs is essential to this role. 

• Full time temporary position (all options will be considered)

• Daily rate is £150+ 

• September 2021 start date although this is flexible.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Specialist Dyslexia Teacher position, you will have: 

• Dyslexia qualification 

• Experience working with children or adults with special needs. 

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply.

• Have strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
